This time of year always brings about moments of reflection. I find myself, this Thanksgiving, dealing with a complication of emotions. Much like the weather, one day I’m a gloomy, the next day hurricane force winds are blowing through me, then a sunny, unseasonably warm day arrives followed by a bomb cyclone. All of it lets me know I’m alive.
I realize most that if I’m not able to experience the bad weather days and integrate them into my life, I will not be able to do the same with the sunny days. I’m thankful for this realization.
I’m also thankful to all of you who are reading this. Many of you know me, and many of you have experienced me in all of these different moods. Good friends stand by when the bomb cyclone hits. I’m thankful you have stood by me.
To all my readers, friends, family, and unknowns alike, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
