Welcome back! The Burning Hearth is delighted to bring you another In Conversation…interview. This month I sat down with Kim Suhr and discussed everything from her writing mentors to how she came to be the director of Red Oak Writing. We end the interview with a lovely reading from her book Nothing To Lose.
Quickly, before you push play, I have two writing updates. Frist, I had a micro published in the Small Gratitudes column over at JMWW. I hope you’ll click and give it a looksee. And, second, I am most excited and honored to announce that I have a micro on the short list of Fractured Literary’s Micro Fiction Contest. Winners and Honorable mentions will be announced soon. Stay tuned.
And, now I hope you enjoy In Conversation…with Kim Suhr
Please, stop by next month when In Conversation…sits down with author and friend Nancy Bauer-King. Nancy’s book Madness to Ministry: A Woman’s Journey From Psych Unit to Pulpit is a must read. We will be talking a lot about her new book project, and how this retired female pastor has traveled through life in a male dominated world. Until then, stay safe and well!
